About the artist

Courtney

Courtney is the owner and sole artist behind Courtney's Tats—a private, one-artist studio built for focused sessions and honest consults.

Her tattoo style leans into high-contrast roses, thorns, ornamental framing, and crisp line work, with room for traditional, neo-traditional, blackwork, fine line, realism touches, and script when the piece calls for it.

She keeps setups sterile and single-use where required, works cleanly, and explains what she is doing so you can relax and make informed choices before the needle starts.

Services & pricing

How booking works

Minimum shop charge: confirmed at consult (varies by piece size and detail).

Hourly rate: available on request when you call—final pricing depends on placement, style, and session length.

Specialties: black & grey, full color, fine line, script and lettering, traditional and neo-traditional influences, ornamental roses/thorns, and small-to-medium custom pieces.

Not a fit / ask first: extremely graphic content, racist or gang-related imagery, genital tattoos, UV-only ink, copy-paste of other artists' custom work without permission, and anything that compromises safe healing or studio standards.

Shop policies

Studio rules

  • Age: this studio tattoos adults 18 and older only.
  • ID: valid government-issued photo ID is required at your appointment.
  • Deposits: deposits secure appointment time and typically apply toward the tattoo unless you no-show or cancel inside the policy window—details are confirmed when you book.
  • Rescheduling: give as much notice as possible; repeated last-minute changes may require a new deposit.
  • Health & safety: disclose medications, pregnancy, skin conditions, allergies, and anything that affects healing. The artist may decline work if it is not safe.

Healing

Aftercare instructions

1. Leave the initial covering on for the time Courtney recommends (usually a few hours unless film is used).

2. Wash hands, then gently cleanse the tattoo with lukewarm water and fragrance-free antibacterial soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel—do not rub.

3. Apply a thin layer of the recommended aftercare ointment or lotion—just enough to shine, not a thick coat.

4. For the first couple of weeks: no swimming, hot tubs, sun, tanning, picking, or scratching. Loose, clean clothing over the area.

5. Healing varies by skin and placement. If something looks off, message or call the studio for guidance.
